Today marked the conclusion of the Sixth Session of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, organized in Brasilia by ECLAC, the government of Brazil and UNDP.
The position document presented by ECLAC in the framework of the Sixth Session of the Regional Conference on Social Development analyzes the scope of this proposal formulated by the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Sixth session of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by ECLAC, the government of Brazil and UNDP, will take place on September 2-4.
This intergovernmental event is organized by ECLAC in conjunction with the United Nations Development Programme’s 17th Ministerial Forum for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Authorities participated on Thursday in Barbados in the Sixth Meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, in the framework of the XVI Ministerial Forum for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
